BACKGROUND
Biography
Brittany Rochelle is a self-taught, Minneapolis-based fiber artist specializing in needle felting. Since picking up her first felting needle in 2022, she has focused on creating works that inspire curiosity about the natural world. Her first felted painting was part of a twelve-piece series featuring landscapes from French Regional Park in Plymouth, MN. This series led to her solo exhibit called Felted Reflections: A Yearlong Celebration, which was displayed at the French Visitor Center from January to March 2024. Brittany’s aim is to inspire environmental awareness and appreciation, fostering a deeper connection with nature and among people.
